Our iconic needlepoint belt, as elegant as it is casual and fun, is the perfect accessory to help you stand apart from the crowd. This hand-stitched traditional belt is 1.25" in width and is finished with full grain, vegetable tanned Italian leather and a solid brass buckle.
The easiest way to determine a Smathers & Branson belt size is to add 2-3 inches to a men's pant size. If the recipient wears multiple pant sizes, use the largest size to calculate the correct belt size. This formula works best with chino style pants. If in between sizes, round up to the next size. Using denim sizing is not recommended.
Some individuals may need to go up an additional belt size.

- Wear the pants the belt will be worn with, and measure through the belt loops.
- Pull the tape taut, like a belt.
- Round to the nearest inch: ex. 35’’-35.5’’ = 35" and 35.6"-36’’ = 36". This number will be the ideal S&B belt size.
- If in between belt sizes, round up—our belts fit better when slightly larger.
- Works for both men and women.
